2020 Wedding

2020 was a difficult year for flower growers and venue owners who had weddings on the books. On a personal level it was also tragic for the brides and grooms and their families who had to cancel events they had looked forward to for a lifetime. Many chose to go forward with very small events because life moves forward—graduate school begins when it begins—and we were happy to be able to provide flowers for the daughter of friends whose large venue wedding was canceled due to COVID restrictions. The wedding that took place was beautiful. Holding it in their family's stone barn made it very special, too. I hope the bride and groom feel, as I did, that it was no less wonderful than the original day they had planned, because it was so full of family and love.
