An old-fashioned barn raising—high tunnel style.

Our neighbors came up today to set the hoops on the 50 posts we put in a few days ago. (They are fantastic neighbors and we are so fortunate!!)

The process of installing the posts was definitely the hardest part, but now that it's done we can move on. Until we saw the hoops set we weren't sure we had done things correctly, but all was well and we breathed a big sigh of relief. We are such novices!!

My neighbor set up a cool timelapse video which I posted on instagram.

We were short a few pieces and couldn't quite finish, but it looks good. I can see that this will take longer than we had hoped, but it will get done and that's all that matters. :)
